How do the bottles work?
All our hydrogen producing water products use a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) paired with a Solid Polymer Electrolyte (SPE) electrolysis to split H2O and produce pure molecular hydrogen at medium to high concentrations.
Are they made of glass?
Yes, our products are made from strong food-grade BPA free borosilicate glass.
Our latest model the Tritan Sport™ and Atom™ is made from Tritan material which is strong like plastic, but pure and toxic free like glass.
Additionally, our pitcher model boasts a large 64-ounce capacity and can warm water up to 109 degrees, enhancing the hydrogen infusion experience. Each model is tailored to meet different needs and preferences, ensuring a variety of options for our customers.
Difference between models?
Each IonBottles product is designed with unique capabilities and features, but all models specialize in producing pure molecular hydrogen gas. For instance, our latest model, the ATOM™, can generate up to 5000 PPB of hydrogen-rich water, providing double the hydrogen concentration per ounce compared to our original model.
Additionally, our pitcher model boasts a large 64-ounce capacity and can warm water up to 109 degrees, enhancing the hydrogen infusion experience. Each model is tailored to meet different needs and preferences, ensuring a variety of options for our customers.
How long does hydrogen last?
Molecular hydrogen gas retains its effectiveness in the water for about 10 to 15 minutes once the bottle is opened or vented. If the bottle remains sealed, especially in an airtight model like the latest ATOM, hydrogen levels can stay elevated for up to 13 hours. To enjoy more hydrogen-rich water, simply press the power button to activate another cycle, infusing your water with fresh hydrogen gas whenever you need it.
Pour water into another glass?
Certainly, you may transfer your freshly hydrogenated water into an alternative glass or stainless steel vessel. It's worth noting, however, that even if the container is sealed, the concentration of hydrogen gas will remain present and testable in the water for about 12 hours.
My bottle arrived wet!
When you first receive your bottle, there will be a cap covering the titanium plates in the center of the bottle. This cap contains a small amount of clean distilled water (100% normal) this water keeps the membrane hydrated while they're shipped. Just remove the glass to access and unscrew the cap. Wash out the bottle before use.
Note that the water may leak from the cap into the bottle during transit, causing the inside to look wet and potentially "used".
Rest assured that your bottle is NOT USED, and that some water inside when you receive your bottle is normal. Please wash out your bottle and enjoy!
What happens to the oxygen?
How does your system ensure water is infused with pure molecular hydrogen?
Our advanced infusion process ensures that all remaining oxygen gas is expelled from the bottle, allowing only pure molecular hydrogen to saturate your water. In our ATOM, Pro Model, and Tritan Sport versions, oxygen gases are expelled through a dedicated vent port. In our original model and the pitcher, these gases are efficiently released through the lid. This meticulous method guarantees the highest purity and effectiveness of the hydrogen infusion.
How do I clean my bottle?
Clean your unit gently with mild soap and warm water. If you're in an area with hard water, it's a good idea to occasionally descale the unit.
To descale, pour 1/4 cup of distilled white vinegar over the titanium plates in the center of the base, making sure they are fully covered. Allow the vinegar to sit for upwards of 12 hours, then rinse well. It's best to do this descaling process once per month for the best results.
Please remember not to submerge the base in water, put it in the dishwasher, or use a wire metal brush for cleaning.
Safe during pregnancy?
Yes.
There has been zero reports of drinking hydrogen-rich during pregnancy was unsafe.

What type of water to use
Utilizing our advanced, proton exchange membrane technology, our bottles or pitchers are compatible with various water sources including regular unfiltered tap water, filtered water, reverse osmosis, natural spring, purified, and well water. Please note that waters with a low mineral content may result in a less pronounced visual reaction.
Mine stopped making bubbles.
If you received your bottle or pitcher and it does not produce hydrogen bubbles, or it stopped. Fill your bottle or pitcher with warm water and allow the MEMBRANE located at the base to soak in water for 1-3 hours, in that time run the bottle or pitcher multiple times. This will help prime the proton exchange membrane which may have dried out enough stopping it from working as it should.
Can I use hot water?
We recommend using room temp, cold water or iced water. DO NOT pour boiling hot water in your bottle or pitcher, as it may cause damage to the proton exchange membrane (PEM).
Doing so may void the warranty.
How many uses per battery?
How many cycles can I achieve per full battery charge?
The number of hydrogen infusion cycles you can achieve on a single charge varies by model. Typically, you can expect between 10 to 20 cycles. The battery fully recharges in approximately 6 to 9 hours. For optimal charging, please use the USB cable provided with your bottle.
Filters or replacement parts?
Nope!
That is one of the main benefits to an IonBottle compared to our single use competitors out there. Our bottles are reusable, rechargeable, and never stop creating Hydrogen water for years to come.
How much H2 water per day?
According to the research conducted, the patients & athletes that consumed 4-5 bottles per day or about 60 ounces of hydrogen-rich water would achieve optimal results and benefits, noticeable in first 4-6 weeks.
Does the water taste different?
The responses we have received from our customers is that their water has a better taste after being run through their ionizing water bottle or pitcher then before.
Water leaking under the bottle?
Why is there water leaking under my bottle during or after the hydrogen cycle?
During the hydrogen cycle, it's normal to occasionally notice a small amount of water beneath your bottle. This occurs as a result of the pressure within the bottle pushing out traces of water. Our dual chamber technology actively expels oxygen, chlorine, ozone, and other oxide gases through a down vent located at the base of the bottle. This process ensures the purity of the hydrogen infusion but might cause minimal weeping of water.

How long is shipping times?
Please allow our team 1 - 2 business days to process your order to be packaged and delivered to our shipping carrier. We do not process or ship orders over the weekend.

If in the less than 3% chance you decide to return your purchase. We do offer hassle free returns when your order is still in its original packaging within 60 days from the date your order is delivered. We offer prepaid return labels when shipping your item back within the United States. The return shipping fee will be deducted from your total refund amount.
Please email and a member from our customer care team will assist you through this process. Your customer care representative will let you know in advance what your refund total will be and answer any questions you might have.
Returned products that do not pass our inspection process may be eligible for a partial refund. We are not responsible for the shipping fee to send back any product deemed ineligible for a refund or exchange.

Does IonBottles Offer A Warranty

We believe so much in our product that we back it for a year. If that wasn't enough we created a secondary lifetime protection option to help our customers keep drinking hydrogen water for years.
How do I file a warranty claim?
To file a claim please email us with your name and order number. Please include a description of the warranty issue in question, and include a photo or video evidence to share with us.
Warranty replacements are typically approved within 4-7 days, and shipped out within 2-weeks. Shipping for warranty replacements are required to be paid by the customer.
Accessories
Can I Wash IonBottles Sleeve?
We'd recommend simply spot cleaning or wiping the sleeve clean.
What Bottles Will Sleeve Fit?
The protection sleeve is capable of fitting around our Original and Pro Model hydrogen water bottles.
Please note that the sleeve does not have any cut out holes for the button, this is by design. You can still press each of the buttons on the bottles when they are covered with a protective sleeve.
The sleeve will need to be removed to plugin the USB charger and recharge the battery.
