I purchased the Ion Pitcher because I like the convenience of a large capacity, plugged in model that I can use to fill my portable water bottles. Don't have to worry about charging, losing or breaking an expensive portable Ion bottle. But there are a few things that I don't like about the pitcher. One is that it does not have an ON/OFF switch so when plugged in it's always ON and the touch control panel is always flashing. Another is that I don't like that the pitcher doesn't separate from the base so I have to unplug it in order to refill it in the sink. Also, it's pretty heavy when filled with water which makes it a bit cumbersome to dispense water. Aside from those two things I really like it. 4 out of 5 stars. The pitchers appears to have been discontinued. I guess most people prefer the portable versions.

I purchased the pitcher a life long protection package. I was to get a free 10 Detox book I did not get. I sent several message and did not get response. I also was unhappy regarding lack of detail on use and benefits of hydrogen water.

Pitcher has been great so far. Only issue was tgat despite cleaning the pitcher prior to use, still had a weird metallic flavor for the first 2 pitchers. I just dumped the water and started another batch. Highly recommend running the self cleaning cycle once or twice before actually using it.
